    Stuart De Haro  showcases a Shars 2" boring head and introduces some of the things you need to do to set up and adjust the boring head, as well as take multiple passes of different depths.

  • Compared to the generic boring head on the market, the main lead screw has minimum amount of backlash in 5 graduation while the generic model has around 10 graduation. Smaller backlash allows the operator to be able to dial in on the desired travel much easier.
  • Internal bore within H7 specification to give tight fitting with cutting's shank
  • Nickel plate finished have a great advantage over black oxided finish
  • 1 division is equaled to 0.001" travel in radius
