Product features
YBC252 Black Diamond Carbide Grade
YBC252 comprises of thick layer of TICN and Al2O3 in CVD coating process which yields anti-plastic deformation and strong cutting edge strength. It's the preferred choice for machining steel from finishing to roughing. It can achieve stable performance in high chip removal rate and large depth of cut or in adverse working condition, and it can also achieve dry cutting for environmental concerns
Perfect unification of toughness and anti-plastic deformation
The two areas on the outside of the red line are ductile area of rich cobalt layer while the middle section contains cubic carbides of well high-temperature behavior. This unique skeleton design on the cutting edge improves toughness and anti-plastic deformation.
Improved Surface Roughness
Before Treatment After Treatment
Special surface treatment on the insert significantly lower the surface roughness, reduces the bonding between insert surface and work material, effectively improves the stability.
Combination of fibrous TICN and fine grained Al2O3 increases abrasion resistance and anti-chipping.
DM Chip Breaker
preferred choice chip breaker on P category material semi-finish
M Class tolerance double sided chip breaker, light cutting force with wide chipping range, can achieve better result on high adhesive alloy steels.
