- Made of steel 1045 hot roll which is stronger, hardenable, easier to finish, and more fatigue resistant compared to 1018 cold roll. Hot roll will have less internal stress than cold roll and it will be more stable than cold roll after machining
- Designed for first roughing operation, expect standard runout between 0.005-0.010"
- Precision ground finish on teeth to provide a tight fit with the master jaw of the lathe chuck
- Reversible jaw suitable for both inside and outside workholding
