Back to the Drawing Board
What started as a mere pencil sketch on a sheet of scratch paper has grown into a thrilling adventure in design and engineering. Inspired by stealth air planes, the concept was born and so we struck out to create a caliper to match. Color. Shape. Contour. Feel. These were only some of the features we explored as part of the intricate elements of what makes a caliper phenomenal.
Design
More than a pretty face
In order to achieve the delicate balance between design and functionality, we spent hundreds of hours reworking and revising the decal artwork, the impact resistant case, the body, and the internal electrical components. On the decal artwork, we went for easy to read and eye-catching with our vibrant red and white on a glossy black background. For the plastic cover, we blended function and flair without taking our eyes off of ergonomics by always putting the caliper back in our hands to make sure the feel was just right. However, the Aventor is far more than just a pretty face.
Design
Pick it up and measure
To make our caliper easy to operate, we've incorporated a new origin function, DPS (Direct Positioning Sensor), so users no longer have to set the zero point every time they turn the caliper on or after replacing the battery. It also features an automatic shut-off feature that puts the display in power-save mode after 5 minutes of idling and wakes it up as soon as the slider moves again. This automation feature cuts down inefficient power usage and extends battery life longer than a year. We've added a SPC port so you can easily export your data into a spreadsheet without installing additional software. And for an additional fee, we can provide this caliper with a ISO 17025 certificate from an ANAB certifed lab in Wisconsin.

- Offset caliper is designed to measure center to center distance on the same plane or offset plane surface

Preset Function
Preset mode allows operator to input caliper nibs exact dimension as an offset for ID measurements. Once the preset value is set, the 0 key will always reset the caliper back to the preset value. After 72 hours of leaving the depth gage being idle, both 0 position and preset value would require resetting
