One of the key component of a keyless drill chuck is the internal jaw holder which is machined in a Mazak CNC machining center to hold the tight tolerance. With the help of Kawasaki robotic arm to do the heavy lifting we can optimize the manufacturing process for both efficiency and accuracy. Each drill chuck component is carefully inspected and assembled by skilled hands and final inspection is conducted by mounting the R8 arbor into a simulation spindle with motor to check for runout by a Mitutoyo or Mahr dial indicator.
Jaws are tin coated for wear resistance and hardened to 60 HRc. With high precision ball bearing structure our drill chuck would transfer maximum torque to prevent drill slippage while minimize the lock-up occurrence during drilling operation.
By mounting the assembled drill chuck into a motorized spindle to check runout while the motor is spinning to simulate the real world application, rather than manually rotating the spindle by hand wheel, we can deliver a drill chuck with confidence to satisfy your need.
