Return Policy

Standard Return Policy

Returns are available on all unused items sent back to us within 30 days of purchase. Items outside of this range can be either ineligible for a refund or will incur a restocking fee. All damaged, defective, or missing items must be reported within 5 days of delivery date.

How to Return an Item

Please contact us at sales@shars.com or at 630.443.6822 to get a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) before returning your item. To avoid a restocking fee, the return item must be in the original case, with all of the accessory and document paper, and no visible marking on the items. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs on non-defective items.

Restocking Fees

In order to keep our prices low, we have to charge a re-stocking fee in certain instances to re-coup the cost associated with returns. A 20% re-stocking fee will be assessed in the following situations:

  • - Non-defective merchandise returned in visibly used, or damaged condition.
  • - Orders "Refused" without authorization.
  • - Certain branded items (i.e. Ultra-Dex)
  • - Returns that were shipped back after 30 days of the date purchase (Note: unless authorized, late returns will be rejected).
Once we receive your return, please allow 14-Days for us to inspect and process your return. Credit card and PayPal purchases will be refunded to the account you provided when you placed your order.

Large Item (Over 150LB) Return Policy Due to the expense of shipping heavy items, large items are governed by a separate Return Policy. Be sure to carefully inspect all Heavy Item (freight) deliveries for damage before signing the bill of lading as freightliner handling charges cannot be refunded. If items arrive damaged or defective, you must note this on the shipping receipt and refuse delivery to avoid paying actual freight charges. Please notify us of any delivery problems as soon as possible to expedite the refund process.
