Features and Benefits

3 pinion design.
4 micro-fine adjustment screws allow 0.0004" T.I.R. (4" thru 12-1/2" chucks).
8 micro-fine adjustment screws allow 0.0004" T.I.R. (15-3/4" thru 25" chucks).
Two piece hard top & master jaws are American Standard tongue and groove.
High quality forged steel body construction allows for higher lathe speed and longer life.
Forged and hardened scrolls are precision ground and balanced for longer life and
higher accuracy.
Jaws and pinions are hardened and precision ground to increase life of the chuck.
Each chuck is balanced within fine limit for the high speed machining.
Steel adapter plates are interchangeable with PASeries chucks of the same size so that
one chuck can be used on different lathe spindles.
Proper chuck maintenance can extend the life of your PA chuck significantly.
It must be cleaned and lubricated on a regular basis as recommended in Gator service
instruction.
For the best gripping results, use the Gator recommended chuck grease.
The 6-jaw chucks grip firmly with less pressure and less distortion per jaw and they are
ideal for thin wall and finishing operations. They eliminate the need for spring collets
