- Can be used on Shars brand electronic micrometer
- Measurement data is transferred via RS232 port into PC by using Hyper Terminal software with the following specification. By pressing the transfer key once on the micrometer would transferred the data once into the Hyper Terminal software. By pressing and hold the transfer key on the micrometer, the data would be transferred continueously automatically with 1 secon interval into the Hyper Terminal software without needing to pressing the key
- If the unit on the micrometer is set to be inch, for example 2.500", the exact number 2.500 would be transferred to the Hyper Terminal software; same for the metric unit.
- Data cable with a straight pin connector end (Micrometer Gage) and RS232 end (for PC )
