Design

Aventor Advantage

We designed the Aventor Series to give users an edge over their competition. Buyers searching for expertly crafted, easy to read, easy to operate calipers at the right price point have found the advantage in our large screen model.

Although this unit does not come with the DPS encoder or the SPC output, these calipers are specifically designed and targeted toward an audience of seasoned machinists and craftsmen and are made to deliver on all fronts. We chose a clean, modern design for our large screen Aventor caliper to keep a laser focus on the immediate needs of our customers. A heavy duty body with hard-sculpted ridges for an improved grip, IP54 coolant proof protection for safe usage in most shop environments, and a large LCD display with even larger digits help to make this caliper a practical favorite for all machinists.

Well-Crafted Calipers

We also stepped up the craftsmanship. Smooth, ground and lapped knife edges on the measuring faces and a perfectly ground rail in the direction of the slide deliver seamless motion of the encoder across the entire body. We added an auto-off function, swapped out the tiny 357 battery in exchange for a higher capacity CR2032, and boosted the battery life to more than a year of prolonged usage. The fractional measurement gets all the way down to 128ths and we've included a convenient conversion chart on the back to help with everyday measurement conversions.

Before being delivered to our warehouse, these calipers go through two vigorous inspections to check the accuracy and the functionality. For an additional fee, we can provide these calipers with a traceable ISO 17025 certificate from an ANAB certified lab in Wisconsin.

Guide way surface is lapped in the direction of the slider movement, this minor detail produces an even and smooth run of the slide
Outside Jaw

Measuring contact face on the outside jaw are precision ground and lapped to give it a mirror finished, and hardened to 53 HRc
