- All TWIN-CAL are equipped with an integrated data interface TLC (TESA Link Connector) allowing for upgrade. The watertight housing of the TWIN-CAL IP67 is a clever combination of a metallic protection plate and the electronic display of the instrument, allowing for the maximum IP67 protection against dust and the effects of immersion. This caliper is therefore suitable for countless applications and can also be used in harsh industrial conditions. A communication interface can be installed instead of the battery cap, enabling bidirectional communication between the instrument and the computer, while maintaining the IP protection. This upgradable concept gives the user a choice between different cable and wireless modules that can be purchased later. The new generation of data transfer options includes a total of two cable versions as well as the wireless TLC-TWIN transceiver, which guarantees easy and flexible measurements thanks to the absence of a restrictive cable.
