Design

Dialing In On Design

Design is the art of shapeshifting imagination into functionality.

Our Aventor height gage went through many changes as we dialed in on the design. We took a common shape and refined it. We added dimension to the unit by tilting and recessing the screen to increase display visibilty from the highest and lowest points of the column. We added a handwheel and a fliplock to allow for smooth, accurate measurements that can be easily captured and held. We reinforced the beam and gage display to make the unit rugged and ready for the busiest shops. Then, we turned our focus into all that this height gage can do.

Design

What's that button do?

The Aventor height gage has an abundance of functions compared to other height gages on the market. With the preset button, users can preset their measurement to any number. The tolerance key allows the operator to set upper and lower limits. The origin function, DPS (Definitive Position Sensor), eliminates overspeed measuring errors and the need to set zero every time the unit is turned on. Plus, the incremental and conversion buttons that come with our other standard units.

The Perfect Pair

The greatest advantage that the Aventor height gage has is its ability to pair with the Aventor electronic indicator. Connecting these two precision gages together by using the indicator as a touch off probe gives the operator complete confidence in their measurements by eliminating over travel errors, vastly increasing the repeatability, and making checking multiple parts extremely easy.

For an additional fee, we can provide this height gage with an ISO 17025 certificate from an ANAB certifed lab in Wisconsin.
