- Round soft jaws provide maximum surface contact of work piece, improving gripping performance on odd-shaped or thin walled parts
- Made of steel 1045 hot roll steel which is stronger, hardenable, easier to finish, and more fatigue resistant compared to 1018 cold roll. Hot roll will have less internal stress than cold roll and it will be more stable tham cold roll after machining
- Precision ground finished on teeth to provide a tight fit with the master jaw of the lathe chuck
- Can be bored or turned to fit work piece
